2. Do you have any sort of discount pricing? We do not offer a discount on any of our products unless they are introductory. This will be stated on the web where they are shown. We may offer a discount for the purchase of several of the same items, but this does not apply if you order all different items. If you feel that you might have some reason that would make you eligable for a discount, such as massive resale, please contact us via e-mail.
3. What is the quickest way to get my questions answered? The fastest way to get your questions answered is to e-mail us at info@futurehorizons.net. You should carefully phrase your questions so that we will know what you are talking about and be able to give you an exact answer. Unfortunately we do not have the manpower to answer all questions.
4. When can I expect my order after it is placed? We try to stock most of our items but some larger and expensive items are built specially for each order. Generally, the delivery time for our products is two to four weeks. E-mail orders aren't sent out the same day, because we are on a first come first serve basis. Whatever order comes in first is the order that gets sent out first. There may be another customer, or a few customers ahead of you in the order line. We ask that you are patient.
5. Why isn't this technology everywhere if it is so advanced? Just because you dont see something on the news doesn't mean that its not real! Big business and governments dont want most of this technology to be readily available for many reasons. Mostly because it reduces their contol over the masses and the amount of money they make from supressing the truth. Most of us have heard of the stories of the backyard inventer who developed a 100 mile per gallon carburator, only to be bought out and supressed by the oil companies. You see the oil companies have a world monopoly and stand to loose trillions if free energy was common. The truth of the matter is that this technology has come from all over the world and all different sources. Some of it was even discovered by governments. Some of the items we sell are unpredictable, meaning their results vary as according to conditions.
6. Will you make a custom project for a customer? The answer to this question is sometimes, but very rarely. We have a lot to do and do not generally have the time to figure out how to make something for someone. If you have an idea and a few blueprints however, we may like to see them and possibly build it for you. We will not tell you how to make something work. That is something you have to figure out.
7. Will I be able to find the parts to build your plans? Most of our items can be assembled using parts from your local Radio Shack, department store, hardware store. For those projects however, that use hard to find part, we include a parts source list with phone numbers to order the parts.
8. Is there any way to track my order? We will run an order check for you if you would like, but only after the initial waiting period for delivery is up. In order to run a check, we need the name the order was placed under, the approximate date it was placed, the address it was ordered under, and what you ordered. Once again, however, we ask that you do not write in for an order check unless it has been at least 10 days since you placed the order.
9. Are you looking for any kind of help testing, building, or researching the items? We do not need any help with any of the above. We have all the help we need. Should we need help, we usually hold interviews in our area, which is Marquette, Michigan. This is a rare occurance though. We would like to ask that you do not write in asking us if you can help us out in any way. This takes time away from answering your other questions about our products.
10. How often do you update your website? We try to update our website whenever we have new products or information available. We are constantly developing and acquiring new technology. We try to put this on the website as soon as possible, but sometimes it takes a while to refine the items and/or technology.
11. What kind of skills do I need to build the products from your plans? Most of our products can be assembled using our easy to follow plans and limited knowledge in the technology field. Some of the plans however, such as ones that would employ working with high voltage, should only be carried out by someone skilled in such a field. Radio Shack is a great place to go for begginner books on electronics.
12. Is there any way I can contact you by phone to have my questions answered? We do not generally give our office phone number out to customers. This is due to the fact that we do not have a lot of time to be answering the phone. When you are working with the equipment that we do, it is best if you go undisturbed. We strongly recommend e-mailing us with questions.
13. Why was I told something different by the woman who took my order by phone? While this is not generally the case, sometimes our answering service gives out wrong information concerning the availability of products and the waiting time. Once again, if you have a question about an order, please e-mail us. That is what we are here for. The answering service people are there to take orders. They do not know about the items in great detail.
14. What are the different ways I can pay for my order? We now have online ordering. This means you can place an order on our website by using a credit card. It is completely secure and encrypted so you dont have to worry about security. You can also call our order line to place your order or mail it to us. We ask that you pay for your order in one single payment, with either a check (only accepted if you live in the U.S. or Canada), money order, or credit card. You can alos fax us your order using our order form which is available online. We do not use the C.O.D method of payment, so please don't ask. We also recommend that you do not send cash through the mail. We will not be held responsible if it is taken before we get the order. We also do not accept a series of payments. Everything is paid in full when the order is placed with the above methods of payment.
15. What is the best way to place an order? The best way to place an order is from our website online ordering, by telephone or by postal mail. You will find the different options to place an order on our webpage.
16. Can all of the plans I ordered be e-mailed to me? At this point in time, the only plans we e-mail are WATE, GRAV, and FRGE. This means that if you did not order one of those plans, you will recieve all of your plans via postal mail. Please do not ask to have a plan delivered to you by e-mail if it is not one of those. Also, we do not have a hard copy of WATE, FRGE, or GRAV, so please do not ask for one. Those three items are e-mailed to you and then downloaded.
17. How do you ship your products? All of our products are sent either by UPS Ground or by U.S. Postal mail, except WATE, FRGE, and GRAV, which are e-mailed to you. Hoverboards and larger items are sent by freight.
18. Can I pay to have my item shipped by another source or as a rush order? At this point in time, we do not offer a rush option, because sometimes not all the items are in stock. Also, everything goes out via UPS Ground only. We do not offer another option. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Please note: If you have a P.O. Box, your order will go out via Priority Postal mail with delivery confirmation upon arrival. This is due to the fact that UPS will not deliver to P.O. boxes. Foreign orders are shipped by U.S. Postal airmail.
19. Can you redirect me to another store if what I am looking for is not on your site? If something is not on our site, you will have to take it upon yourself to look elsewhere. If your looking for something thats not on our website then we dont have it. In the case of many of our items, we are the only comany in the world who sells many of these items.
20. Do you have any outlet stores anywhere else in the world? Right now, our factory is in Marquette, Michigan. We do not have any retailers anywhere else.
21. If I placed an order with your company and happen to be passing through the area, can I come pick my order up? Due to the fact that we are such a small company and all of our time is dedicated to getting our products out to you, we do not generally recommend you stopping by our office to pick something up. If you happen to order something large, however, such as the jetpack or hoverboard, you can contact us via e-mail and something might be able to be arranged.
22. Do you have any days where you offer tours of the business? At this point in time, we are generally closed to the public. We do not offer an public or private tours of our business. We apologize for any inconveniece this may cause.
23. If I live in a different country than the U.S., can I still place an order? As long as you have a credit card or money order to pay for the items, and you have a valid shipping address, you can order from us. Please be advised, however, that some foreign orders may take longer to recieve than the designated delivery time. Due to the fact that the shipping is out of our hands after it leaves our office, we cannot give you an exact date that it will arrive.
24. Do you accept orders from people under 18 years of age? Due to the fact that we have had numerous problems with children and young teens placing orders without their parents permission, we ask that if you are under 18 years of age, you have your parents place the order for you.
25. If I have an invention or plan I would like to sell, would you be interested in purchasing them from me? From time to time, we come across items that we think would be useful to our company. These items are often fully developed inventions or plans. If you feel you have something that would interest us, please feel free to e-mail us about it.
26. What is the minimal order I can place? The minimal order you can place is $20.00. This is because it costs too much for us to process an order that is only $5.00 or $10.00. Please take notice of this when you place you order. Don't forget to write legibly if you are mailing your order in, and don't forget the shipping and handling charges.
27. How do I figure out shiping costs of my order? All our shipping charges are listed on a chart at the order section of our website or in our printed catalog. Our shipping is based on the total amount your order reaches, so be sure to figure in the total cost of your order, including the e-mail orders before you figure shipping. If you order online at our website then shipping is calculated automatically except for foreign orders.
