free above the track, it can move very quickly and easily by just giving it a
tiny push. Also learn about magnetics from basic to advanced concepts to superconductors.
Learn about permenant magnets, temporary magnets and electromagnets. Also explains
how magnets are made. Learn about ferromagnetism, diamagnetism, and paramagnetism.
Learn about the 10 ways of magnetically levitating an object. Learn about the

5 Oct, 2001- We have just added a new item to our website. Plans for an
Ion Propulsion Motor. The motor spins from ion propulsion and has served
as a test bed for much of our research into ion propulsion antigravity
systems. Its also available fully assembled. We are giving away the
plans for free to anyone who places an order by Oct 12th. We have also
sent an announcement about this offer via email.
4 Oct, 2001- We have just updated our Hoverboard section with new photos
and info about the newest Hoverboard model.
7 Sept, 2001- We have just added a new item to our website. It is info regarding
the Hiller Flying platform from the 1950's. Much of our jetpack research was based on
that design. We are giving the info away for free to anyone who places an order by
sept 14. We have also sent an announcement about this offer via email.
1 Aug, 2001- We are preparing to launch our new items announcement service to all

22 July, 2001- We just learned that TLC(The Learning Channel) will be playing the
Gizmos show on 25 July,2001. It will feature a small segment on our hoverboard.
Sorry for not giving more notice but we just found out ourselves. Were not too
impressed with the people at TLC right now.
26 April, 2001- We are nearly finished with an ambitious new project. For
several months now we have been developing a full size Star Trek
Shuttlecraft Simulator ride/video game. It is over 8 feet long and
seats one person. It is based on federation designs and is fully
interactive. It even shakes and tilts during high speed menauvers.
We will be posting photos and info about it soon. We are currently
talking with several theme parks about the concept.
1 April, 2001- Future Horizons has just aquired a new factory. We are
now all moved into our new 5,200 square foot facility. The larger space
was necessary to accomodate some of our larger projects such as
hoverboard production and the new jetpack prototype.
1 March, 2001- Our Hoverboard show which was supposed to be seen this spring
has been moved to late fall. It will be seen on the Discovery and
Learning channel sometime in the fall. We will of course post the
dates after we know them.
7 Nov, 2000- We have just completed a film shoot for The
Learning Channel(TLC) about the Hoverboard in October 2000. The show is called
Gizmos and will air sometime this spring on TLC in the USA and on Discovery
Channel across Canada. The filming was done in Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada and features one of our newest Hoverboards. We will post the air date
once we know it.
6 Nov, 2000- We now have online ordering, finally! You can now use shopping carts
to order our products online using a credit card.
5 Nov, 2000- We have a new website design. Its much easier to navigate and we
have taken the time to add lots of new info regarding our products and many of
your frequently asked questions.
30 Oct, 2000- We now have a brand new Lightsaber available. Its a metal handled
Luke Skywalker saber from Star Wars A New Hope. It is nearly an exact replica.
We have developed a special circuit that makes the light actually go up and
down. The new sound is amazingly powerful and is perfectly synchronized with the
light. We are also in the process of adding a special sensor to the saber so
that it produces wooshing sounds when swung. Exactly like the real thing. Its an
incredible effect and makes it feel like a real lightsaber. Without a doubt our
lightsabers are now the most advanced in the world.
1 Oct, 2000- We are currently redesigning our Flying Jetpack. We have come up
with some amazing improvements to make it smaller and lighter. Our Hoverboards
actually use the same basic principles as the jetpack. So we are incorporating
some of what we learned into the jetpack design. We hope to complete this
sometime in 2001.
9 June, 2000- Our Hoverboard page has been updated with photos of our newest model.
Check it out at www.futurehorizons.net/hoverboarda.htm
5 June, 2000- We now have video clips of the Hoverboard in action.
Click here to check them out.
Our new Hoverboard design is finally complete. Although its much different
than our original prototype, it drastically outperforms the previous design. We
are now gearing up for higher production of this unit. We will be posting lots
of photos this week. We will also be introducing an optional rocket thruster
pack that can be easily retrofitted to any of our Hoverboards. Look for it this
coming Fall/Winter of 2000.
The Hoverboard video is also nearing completion. It will be over 20 minutes
in length on a VHS video tape format. It will be packed with hoverboard video
and detailed info about its operation. This will be a great info video for
anyone serious about purchasing a Hoverboard and its also very entertaining.
24 jan, 2000- The following new items were just added to our site:
Brainwave Reciever
Air Speaker System
Car Tailing Transmitter
Wrist Radio
Radar Speed Jammer
HBO Channel Descrambler
18 Nov 99- We have experienced incredible growth during the past year and have
hired several new people to help out. As a result of our quick growth we have
had problems with orders taking too long to ship out. We have nearly rectified
this problem by installing a new database for order tracking. We have also
corrected most of our supply problems with various parts vendors that we have
had this year.
We have been working hard to develop a reasonable inventory of our products
for the first time. Normally each item is built when we recieve the order for it
but now nearly all our items are in stock. We even hope to have all our
lightsaber orders caught up sometime in December 99. We also have an inventory
of several of the new lightsabers.
Our biggest goal now is to provide the best customer service possible and
ship orders out within a week or two of recieving them.
We also have a number of new plans and items which are nearly ready for our
year 2000 release!
Check back soon for more updates.
The Exotic Research Conference has been cancelled and re-scheduled for July
22-25 and the location has been changed to Mesa, Arizona. Aparently they had
poor pre-registration.
Future Horizons President, Rick Todish will
be speaking at the upcoming Exotic Research Conference held in
Seattle Washington on March 25-28 1999. Future Horizons prototype Antigravity
craft will be demonstrated for the first time publicly. A brief overview of the
lecture can be found below.
Ionic Propulsion Antigravity Craft....A
Working Model!!! by Rick
Todish, President Future Horizons
Although ion propulsion
technology was invented back in the 1960's, it has never been utilized for
use as a means of providing thrust for aircraft. NASA recently was the
first to make use of this amazing technology when it successfully launched
its Deep Space 1 probe from Cape Canaveral on October 24, 1998. The
primary mission of the NASA probe was to test new experimental
technologies like the ion engine.
However, commercial applications are closer than you think! Future
Horizons has developed a 3-ft triangular antigravity craft that can take
off and land vertically... hover, tilt and bank in mid-air. Yes this is
FOR REAL!
Built from carbon fiber composite materials and using no moving parts
or propellers, our ion propulsion craft utilizes the same basic concepts
as the NASA probe but with a different approach. Our goal is to produce as
large of levels of thrust as possible(while keeping efficiency in mind)
for much shorter flight durations for use within our atmosphere.
Our antigravity craft flies on pure electricity. The problem now is
improving efficiency-- getting enough lift from a given grid area with a
given amount of energy. Present models get power through feeder cable,
dangling down like an umbilical cord. We hope to fly a model with a
self-contained power supply perhaps by the end of the year.
Attend this demo and learn the basics of the ionic drive
technology!! |
For information on atending the conference please visit the Exotic
Research website at:
Discovery Channel to do show on some of our
devices
Some of our various
devices will be featured on an episode of Beyond 2000 which is expected to be
picked up again by the Discovery Channel by this summer. Our episode will air
later this year, we will post the dates and times as soon as we know them.
